After a busy first Lunar New Year Celebration last year, we have organised three dates to get together here at our community centre in De Beauvoir!

31st January & 14th February
CELEBRATE AT THE LUNAR NEW YEAR MARKETS!
A range of makers, small business owners, creatives and community
organisers coming together to bring you the spirit of Lunar New Year and Community!

ESEA and diaspora literature, including @TiltedAxisPress's world-class selection, and for the little ones, there will be bilingual music toy books from Fish Tales & Rhymes and a soft play area for our mini community members.

7th February 'YEAR OF THE HORSE' FUNDRAISER
Our Lunar New Year Fundraiser is organised in collaboration with artist and social practitioner Kyra Zhang, traditional East and Southeast Asian Handcraft studio Yi Crafts and 'Hey! Food is Ready!'
Expect crafting activities with Yi Crafts, dumpling making workshops, games & challenges to play with friends and family!

TICKETS
Each £3 ticket includes x1 activity token, which can be used on our activities like the Bean Sorting Challenge or Calligraphy! We ask visitors to arrive during their scheduled time slot, which ensures that all visitors have a chance to participate in games, challenges, and drop-in crafting activities.
ADMISSION TICKETS (each ticket includes an activity token)
*For our crafting activities and challenges at 'Year of the Horse' Fundraiser, we will be using tokens, which you can buy here (scroll down) or on the day! All profits raised from crafting activities and challenges go into keeping our community centre open and running our services, such as our Luncheon Club, Advice Service and keeping the doors open for voluntary community groups like Four Winds Mahjong and various affordable crafting and cooking classes!
